1. How to Use This Card

The Swype Prepaid MasterCard® is a flexible virtual prepaid card that works anywhere MasterCard is accepted, including:

• Online

• In-store via Apple Pay or Google Pay

• Phone or mail order

Additional details:

• Available in open denominations with daily loads up to $2,999 USD

• 3DS supported

• The card has no cardholder name (a side effect of no KYC)

3 Years After the Purchase Date

PayPal & Shopify limitations
Because the card has no name and cannot be registered with a billing address:

• PayPal and Shopify checkouts will likely decline this card.

• These platforms require the card name + billing address to match the user’s account.

Restaurant 20% tip hold
Restaurants automatically pre-authorize 20% for gratuity.
Example:

• If your card balance is $100

• The max bill you can pay is $83 (leaving 20% or $17 for tip hold)

• If the bill is higher, the transaction will be declined

2. Fees

• No activation fees

• $0.75 USD per transaction when paying non-US merchants

3. Activation & Redemption

You will receive an activation link.

• Valid for 60 days from the date it is generated

• You must activate before the link expires

• After 60 days, the link stops working and the card cannot be redeemed

4. Security Feature (recipientEmail)

To protect your activation link, you may provide a recipient email address.

Advantages:

• Only that email can access the activation link

• Prevents unauthorized access

• Adds extra security for prepaid card activations

5. Restricted Regions

Swype cards cannot be issued or used in the following regions due to regulations:

• Africa: Sudan

• Americas: Cuba, Venezuela

• Asia: Afghanistan, Iran, North Korea, Syria

• Europe: Belarus, Russia, Crimea region of Ukraine

Transactions attempted in these regions may be declined or accounts suspended.
