Why haven\u2019t I received the gift card email?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Most of the time, an e-Transfer payment only takes <em>a few seconds to a few minutes<\/em> to be processed.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Right after we receive the funds, the gift card will be emailed out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>However,<\/strong> <strong>occasionally an e-Transfer payment needs more time (from 30 minutes up to 48 hours) to be fully completed. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you check the status of your e-Transfer transaction in your online banking app, you can check if the transaction is completed.  Here are examples from <a href=\"https:\/\/td.intelliresponse.com\/rewards\/index.jsp?interfaceID=4&amp;responseID=511&amp;uuid=0ea7af9e-a156-11e8-abcb-f1b9b7573ecd&amp;requestType=NormalRequest&amp;source=2&amp;question=How+do+I+view+a+completed+or+pending+Interac+e-Transfer+transaction%3F&amp;ratingprocess=true&amp;midPoint=true&amp;ourRating=&amp;comment=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TD Bank<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/help.scotiabank.com\/article\/how-do-i-check-the-status-of-an-interac-e-transfer-that-i-sent\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ScotiaBank<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The status <strong>&#8220;Transfer sent&#8221; <\/strong>means the payment is on the way, but the recipient has not yet received the funds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The status <strong>&#8220;Deposited&#8221; <\/strong>means the transaction is fully completed, and the recipient has received funds, and your gift card will be issued shortly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your bank app doesn&#8217;t show the e-Transfer status and you haven&#8217;t received the gift card a few hours after the e-Transfer payment:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please contact your bank to make sure your bank clears the e-Transfer payment. We have had customers&#8217; funds held by their banks for a few hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Check Your Spam Email<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please make sure to check your spam email. Sometimes, the gift card email can go to the spam email or promotion tab if you use Gmail.
